Apparently the'BTA' is the second highest income generator for romance scams (not just nigeria, other parts of world also) after the 'flight' fees!!!! I suppose the psychology is that if you have already paid up for them to travel, what is a little more money to let them get on the plane as they have showed 'good faith' by supposedly turning up for the 'flight' LOL
